The Lanesborough Economic Development Committee (LEDC) is comprised of a five (5) member board appointed by the Select Board. The LEDC shall have the following powers and duties as delegated by the Select Board: a) shall help coordinate economic development proposals, research, and issues, and assist applicants in understanding the approval process; b) shall advise the Select Board on funding opportunities, business research relative to economic development and the progress of potential business projects in the Town of Lanesborough; c) shall pursue the Goals as outlined in the Town of Lanesborough Economic Development Plan of 2017 and d) additional ad hoc duties may be requested by the Select Board and will be delegated in writing by the Select Board.
