HEALTH SERVICES

 

Community Health Project Mobile Clinic.  

The Mobile CHP Clinic visits town hall every 3rd Tuesday.  The Clinic will perform

wellness checks as well as provide COVID vaccinations/Boosters and Flu vaccine.

No appointment is necessary.  Times: 9-11 am.
Bi-Monthly Foot Clinic

Lunette Dukehart, RN will be at the Town Hall Community Room, every other month on the third Monday of from 9:00 am to 11:30 am for our bi

-monthly Foot Clinic. There is a $35 charge for her wonderful service at the Town Hall. If you prefer to see her at your

 home call her at (413) 212-2144, that charge is $45. If you are diabetic this service is invaluable! 

Annual Flu Clinic.

Each year just before Flu Season kicks into gear we have our Flu Clinic providing 

regular and extra strength Senior vaccine.  The date is announced in the newsletter and on the Town website.  Appointments are preferred.  Call the COA office to secure a time slot 413-448-2682.  Walk-in are also welcome.

 

Informational Sessions

During the year Berkshire Regional Planning provides special educational events on a variety of topics concerning the seniors in town.  In the past we have had Blood Pressure Clinics, Tick Information Sessions, Diabetes Management, Cholesterol Control and Fall Prevention.  These session are generally combined with individual wellness appointments.

FITNESS SERVICES

Chair Yoga

A twice weekly strength and balance chair yoga class is held at the Community Room.  Classes

meet Monday and Wednesday from 10:15 to 11am.  Residents are free, visitor are $3.

 

Weekly Nordic Pole Walking (May through October)

The Pole Walking Group meets Wednesday mornings at 11 am at Laston Field.  Poles are not mandatory and walkers without poles are welcome.
